I’ve failed and made many mistakes during the journey that is my life. At times, I’ve felt defeated. There were moments of darkness when I didn’t want to finish the race. I just wanted to end it. I longed to be embraced and validated by someone; anyone; especially by my earthly father. But he never showed up for me. I tried perfection, achievement, people-pleasing, the pursuit of money and success, all to gain a sense of self worth. Eventually, they all led to emptiness. Then, I found a relationship with my Heavenly Father through Christ Jesus, and the words spoken to my spirit have given me new life every single time. I pray you come to know Him.
